After two decades without a brick and mortar dance studio in operation…
the fall of 2017 saw Miss Emma’s Dance Company open its doors to the youth of New Hampton, IA. Born of Emma Schwickerath’s lifelong love for dance, and passion to mentor the next generation of her hometown residents, we proudly serve you today.
At EDC, our mission is simple: we want to help dancers uncover a passion that moves them and ignite a love for dance that lasts a lifetime.
We're not just teaching dance; we're building confidence and instilling leadership skills in every student. Our goal is to make dance an amazing and positive experience for all of our dancers in NE Iowa.
Our studio is located in New Hampton, IA
EDC offers the following classes:
Ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and competition dance.
Meet Miss Emma!
Emma has dedicated the last 12 years of her life to making New Hampton’s dance program well known across the state of Iowa. She takes great pride in knowing her dancers are getting a quality education while making friends and having fun!
